Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Bishop Carroll can't hold off Cambria Heights
December 30, 2008: Patton, PA 16668 The Cambria Heights Highlanders basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Bishop Carroll Huskies to 51 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Highlanders now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop Guilfoyle for a Laurel Highlands 1 bout on Thursday, January 8. Cambria Heights will play a Marauders squad coming off a 57-38 non-league win over Delone Catholic (McSherrystown, PA). The Marauders record now stands at 7-0.
Next up, the Huskies play the Greater Johnstown Trojans (Johnstown, PA) in a Laurel Highlands 2 bout, on Wednesday, January 7. Bishop Carroll will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 72-55 league loss to Forest Hills (Sidman, PA).
