Florida High School Football - Seminole gets by Mainland
September 25, 2009: Sanford, FL 32773 The Seminole Seminoles football squad scored 21 points and limited the visiting Mainland Buccaneers to 20 in the Seminoles non-league win on Friday.
The Seminoles now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host DeLand for a non-league battle on Friday, October 2. Seminole will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 42-0 league win over Spruce Creek (Port Orange, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-0.
Coming up next, the Buccaneers play the New Smyrna Beach Barracudas (New Smyrna Beach, FL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 2. Mainland will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Barracudas come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 17-12 non-league loss to Astronaut (Titusville, FL).
