The Foothill Cougars basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Ponderosa Bruins to 48 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oroville for a non-league contest on Monday, December 29. Foothill will battle a Tigers team coming off a 68-47 non-league win over Willows (Willows, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-0.

The Bruins (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Rancho Cucamonga (Rancho Cucamonga, CA). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Rancho Cucamonga was defeated by Etiwanda (Etiwanda, CA), 63-41, in a non-league contest.
