The Bellevue West Thunderbirds basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Omaha Central Eagles to 61 in the Thunderbirds league triumph on Friday.

The Thunderbirds now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Omaha South for a A District TBD contest on Saturday, February 22. Bellevue West will battle a Packers team coming off a 58-38 league win over Millard North (Omaha, NE). The Packers record now stands at 17-5.

The Eagles (19-4) will now prepare for their contest against Millard North (Omaha, NE). The Mustangs enter the A District TBD contest with a 5-17 record. In their last contest, Millard North was nudged by Omaha South (Omaha, NE), 58-38, in a league contest.
