Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Alief Taylor Lions (Houston, TX), 77-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Fort Bend Hightower upgrades its record to 23-7 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Fort Bend Kempner (Sugar Land, TX) to play the Cougars in a 6A Region III District 23 bout on Friday, February 5. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 15-9. Fort Bend Kempner won 60-30 in their recent league bout against Alief Taylor (Houston, TX)
