The South Terrebonne Gators basketball team (Bourg, LA), dropped 74-56 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Assumption Mustangs (Napoleonville, LA)

The Mustangs now possess a 14-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Lafourche for a 4A District 7 battle on Friday, February 2. Assumption will confront a Tarpons team coming off a 58-30 league win over Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA). The Tarpons record now stands at 15-8.

The Gators (11-14) will now prepare for their contest against Morgan City (Morgan City, LA). The Tigers enter the 4A District 7 contest with a 19-5 record. In their last contest, Morgan City ran past E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA), 67-52, in a league contest.
