North Carolina High School Baseball - East Columbus loses to Ashley
March 8, 2011: Lake Waccamaw, NC 28450 In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Ashley baseball team scored a tight 4-1 victory over the East Columbus Gators.
The (3-0) will now prepare for their game against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, West Brunswick by Laney (Wilmington, NC), 8-6, in a non-league game.
The Gators (2-2) will now prepare for their game against South Columbus (Tabor City, NC). The Stallions go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record.

Kelly 2-4,R,2B,BB was leading hitter with J. Kelly, Billy Piner, Brian Stokes, Austin Brooks, and Christian Wolfe each getting one hit on the night. ECHS lone run came in the 4th after Derrick Bracey wallked and Kelly made a 3 base throwing error trying to pick Bracey off 1st.
