Texas High School Softball - Austin bounces Alief Elsik
February 25, 2017: Houston, TX 77023 Austin Mustangs (Houston, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Alief Elsik Rams (Houston, TX), 9-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waltrip for a 5A Region III District 24 challenge on Tuesday, March 7.
With the loss, Alief Elsik falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Terry (Rosenberg, TX) to battle the Rangers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 25. The Rangers enter the challenge with a record of 7-1. Terry won 16-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Marshall (Marshall, TX)
