East River Falcons (Orlando, FL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Winter Park Wildcats (Winter Park, FL), 57-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East River upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Falcons travel to Bishop Moore (Orlando, FL) to encounter the Hornets in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 7-14. Bishop Moore lost 83-48 in their recent league game against Lake Highland Prep (Orlando, FL)

With the defeat, Winter Park moves to 5-16 on the year. The Wildcats host Lake Brantley (Altamonte Springs, FL) to face the Patriots in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 25.
