The Americas Trail Blazers topped the visiting Eastwood Troopers basketball team by a final score of 48-29 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Trail Blazers face the Montwood Rams (El Paso, TX) in a 6A Region I District 1 contest, on Tuesday, January 31. Americas will attempt to better on its 26-2 season record. The Rams come into the contest with a 9-12 record after their 48-43 league win over Coronado (El Paso, TX).

The Troopers (9-15) will now prepare for their contest against Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX). The Spartans come into the 6A Region I District 1 contest with a 14-11 record. In their last contest, Pebble Hills dropped by Socorro (El Paso, TX), 49-38, in a league contest.
