January 13, 2015: Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the GAR Memorial Grenadiers (Wilkes-Barre, PA) and the visiting Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA), saw GAR Memorial's basketball squad wallop Greater Nanticoke Area by a tally of 59-29.
With the victory, GAR Memorial improves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Grenadiers travel to Hanover Area (Hanover Township, PA) to confront the Hawkeyes in a Wyoming Valley 3 challenge on Friday, January 16. The Hawkeyes come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Hanover Area won 52-43 in their recent league challenge against Elmer L. Meyers (Wilkes-Barre, PA)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Elmer L. Meyers Mohawks (Wilkes-Barre, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 3 challenge, on Friday, January 16. Greater Nanticoke Area will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Mohawks come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 52-43 league loss to Hanover Area (Hanover Township, PA).
