The Sylmar Spartans Frosh-Soph Team defeated Maranatha in a hard fought match 17-25, 30-28, 15-11. Diana Alvarado led the Spartans with her outstanding all around play. Maria Garcia and Elizabeth Martinez also played well in their high school volleyball debuts.
