The Easton Eagles basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Xavier Prep Yellowjackets to 49 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Archbishop Chapelle for a non-league contest on Monday, January 10. Easton will meet a Chipmunks team coming off a 45-35 non-league win over Dutchtown (Geismar, LA). The Chipmunks record now stands at 19-1.

The Yellowjackets (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against De La Salle (New Orleans, LA). The Cavaliers enter the 3A District 11 contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, De La Salle trounced Cohen (New Orleans, LA), 44-24, in a league contest.
