The McPherson County Longhorns topped the host Arthur County Wolves volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Friday's league test.

The Longhorns now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Anselmo-Merna for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 11. McPherson County will confront a Coyotes team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Medicine Valley (Curtis, NE). The Coyotes record now stands at 4-5.

The Wolves (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Garden County (Oshkosh, NE). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Garden County gained a win over Creek Valley (Chappell, NE), 2-0, in a non-league test.
