North Carolina High School Soccer - Watauga overwhelmed by West Forsyth
September 4, 2018: Clemmons, NC 27012 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the West Forsyth Titans (Clemmons, NC) and the visiting Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC), saw West Forsyth's soccer squad beat Watauga by a margin of 6-2.
The Titans now sport a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to Ragsdale for a non-league test on Thursday, September 6. West Forsyth will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Watauga drops to 5-3 on the season. The Pioneers travel to South Caldwell (Hudson, NC) to meet the Spartans in a Northwestern 3A/4A test on Monday, September 10. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 3-1. South Caldwell won 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Maiden (Maiden, NC)
