The St. Mary's Hall Barons held off the visiting Somerset Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Barons now have a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lytle for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 7. St. Mary's Hall will confront a Pirates team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Brennan (San Antonio, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 4-8.

The Bulldogs (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Hondo (Hondo, TX). The Owls enter the 3A Region IV District 27 challenge with a 12-6 record.
