California High School Football - Oceanside thwarted by San Clemente
September 21, 2006: San Clemente, CA 92673 The San Clemente Tritons toppled the visiting Oceanside Pirates football squad by a final score of 27-9 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Tritons now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to El Toro for a non-league outing on Friday, September 29. San Clemente will confront a Chargers squad coming off a 17-14 non-league loss to Laguna Hills (Laguna Hills, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Oceanside moves to 3-1 on the campaign. The Pirates host Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA) to confront the Falcons in a non-league outing on Friday, October 6. The Falcons go into the outing with a record of 4-0. Torrey Pines won 42-15 in their recent non-league outing against San Pasqual (Escondido, CA)
