Mississippi High School Baseball - St. Joseph Catholic prevails Southeast Lauderdale
March 10, 2016: Meridian, MS 39301 St. Joseph Catholic Bruins (Madison, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Southeast Lauderdale Tigers (Meridian, MS), 10-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, St. Joseph Catholic upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Bruins host Lake (Lake, MS) to play the Hornets in a 2A Region 6 contest on Tuesday, March 15. The Hornets enter the contest with a record of 5-1.
The Tigers now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Richland for a non-league contest on Thursday, March 10. Southeast Lauderdale will play a Rangers squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Kosciusko (Kosciusko, MS). The Rangers record now stands at 3-5.
