September 24, 2011: Memphis, TN 38117 The St. Agnes Academy Stars volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Ballard Memorial Bombers to 0 in the Stars non-league victory on Saturday.
The Stars now possess a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hutchison for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 28. St. Agnes Academy will meet a Sting team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Houston (Germantown, TN). The Sting record now stands at 4-10.
The Bombers (16-12) will now prepare for their game against Calvary Christian (Covington, KY). The Cougars enter the non-league game with a 2-16 record. In their last game, Calvary Christian was dropped by Holmes (Covington, KY), 2-0, in a league game.
