February 28, 2014: Lubbock, TX 79410 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the DeSoto Eagles (De Soto, TX) and the host Coronado Mustangs (Lubbock, TX), saw DeSoto's basketball squad overcome Coronado by a tally of 55-38.
With the victory, DeSoto improves its record to 30-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Bowie (Arlington, TX) to confront the Volunteers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 1. The Volunteers come into the challenge with a record of 25-5. Bowie won 42-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Hebron (Carrollton, TX)
The Mustangs now own a 26-7 record.
