North Carolina High School Basketball - Pine Lake Preparatory overwhelms Highland School of Technology
February 7, 2017: Mooresville, NC 28115 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Pine Lake Preparatory Pride (Mooresville, NC) and the visiting Highland School of Technology Rams (Gastonia, NC), saw Pine Lake Preparatory's basketball squad wallop Highland School of Technology by a tally of 83-46.
With the victory, Pine Lake Preparatory improves its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Pride travel to Davidson Day (Davidson, NC) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 8. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 3-16. Davidson Day lost 78-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA)
Next up, the Rams play the Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 1A battle, on Friday, February 10. Highland School of Technology will attempt to improve on its 2-19 season record. The Ironmen come into the battle with a 10-13 record after their 77-54 league win over Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy (Mooresboro, NC).
