Illinois High School Volleyball - Urbana can't hold off Glenbard South
October 15, 2010: Urbana, IL 61801 In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Glenbard South Raiders volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Urbana Tigers.
The Raiders (17-7) will now prepare for their match against Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL). The Cougars come into the non-league match with a 8-8 record. In their last match, Plainfield South was edged by Oswego East (Oswego, IL), 2-1, in a league match.
With the loss, Urbana drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Oswego (Oswego, IL) to battle the Panthers in a non-league match on Saturday, October 16. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 5-13. Oswego lost 2-0 in their recent league match against Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL)
