October 6, 2006: Downers Grove, IL 60515 The Downers Grove North Trojans football squad scored 20 points and limited the visiting Oak Park-River Forest Huskies to 10 in the Trojans league victory on Friday.
With the victory, Downers Grove North advances its record to 5-2 on the year. The Trojans travel to Lyons (LaGrange, IL) to play the Lions in a West Suburban - Silver challenge on Friday, October 13. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Lyons won 30-20 in their recent league challenge against Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL)
With the defeat, Oak Park-River Forest moves to 5-2 on the campaign. The Huskies host York (Elmhurst, IL) to confront the Dukes in a West Suburban - Silver challenge on Saturday, October 14. The Dukes go into the challenge with a record of 6-1. York won 41-16 in their recent non-league challenge against Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL)
