Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Ferndale Yellow Jackets (Johnstown, PA) and the visiting Conemaugh Township Indians (Davidsville, PA), saw Ferndale's basketball squad knock off Conemaugh Township by a count of 63-55.

With the victory, Ferndale upgrades its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Yellow Jackets host North Star (Boswell, PA) to play the Cougars in a Western Pennsylvania - Northern challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. North Star lost 71-43 in their recent league challenge against Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo, PA)

Next up, the Indians play the Conemaugh Valley Bluejays (Johnstown, PA) in a Western Pennsylvania - Northern challenge, on Tuesday, January 16.
