Ohio High School Volleyball - Northview over Napoleon
August 30, 2018: Sylvania, OH 43560 Northview Wildcats (Sylvania, OH) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Napoleon Wildcats (Napoleon, OH), 3-0 in a league match.
Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Maumee Panthers (Maumee, OH) in a Northern Lakes match, on Tuesday, September 4. Northview will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 2-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to Southview (Sylvania, OH).
With the loss, Napoleon drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Bowling Green (Bowling Green, OH) to clash with the Bobcats in a Northern Lakes match on Tuesday, September 4. The Bobcats come into the match with a record of 1-3. Bowling Green lost 3-1 in their recent league match against Anthony Wayne (Whitehouse, OH)

SYLVANIA - The Northview LadyKats looked to remain with only one loss on the young season while also remaining unbeaten in Northern Lakes League play as they hosted Napoleon. Northview won the match in three straight sets, 25-11, 25-16, 25-15 to move to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in the NLL.
Leading for Northview was senior outside hitter, McKenna Hall with 13 kills, hitting .345, and posting 9 digs and a team high 4 aces. Also leading for the Cats was junior outside hitter, Hannah Frame with 11 kills, hitting .409, and posting 8 digs. Defensively, sophomore libero, Emma Dukate, had a team high 14 digs. Sophomore setter, Clare Kwiatkowski, contributed 31 assists, 8 digs and 2 kills. As a team, Northview hit .298, had 36 kills, and 62 digs.
