October 19, 2012: Seven Springs, NC 28578 In Friday's league match, the visiting Goldsboro Cougars football squad scored a big 61-12 victory over the Spring Creek Gators.
With the triumph, Goldsboro improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Ayden-Grifton (Ayden, NC) to battle the Chargers in a 1A Carolina test on Friday, October 26. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 8-1. Ayden-Grifton won 42-7 in their recent league test against Princeton (Princeton, NC)
With the loss, Spring Creek drops to 0-9 on the campaign. The Gators travel to North Duplin (Calypso, NC) to battle the Rebels in a 1A Carolina test on Friday, October 26. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 6-3. North Duplin won 42-41 in their recent league test against Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC)
