September 22, 2016: Connelly Springs, NC 28612 The East Burke Cavaliers football team (Connelly Springs, NC), was beaten 46-27 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC)
The Bulldogs (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Cavaliers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last test, East Rutherford went down by East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC), 20-13, in a non-league test.
With the loss, East Burke moves to 2-2 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Shelby (Shelby, NC) to confront the Golden Lions in a non-league test on Thursday, September 29.
