January 13, 2012: Plano, TX 75075 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the John Paul II Cardinals (Plano, TX) and the visiting Liberty Christian Warriors (Argyle, TX), saw John Paul II's basketball squad trounce Liberty Christian by a score of 64-40.
With the victory, John Paul II improves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Liberty (Frisco, TX) to play the Redhawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 13. The Redhawks come into the challenge with a record of 5-8. Liberty lost 59-41 in their recent league challenge against Wakeland (Frisco, TX)
Next up, the Warriors play the Trinity Christian Trojans (Addison, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 1 battle, on Tuesday, January 17. Liberty Christian will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Trojans come into the battle with a 16-11 record after their 53-33 league loss to John Paul II (Plano, TX).
