With the triumph, Perrin-Whitt improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Pirates host Frost (Frost, TX) to battle the Bears in a non-league game on Friday, September 19. The Bears come into the game with a record of 0-2.
The Mustangs now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Electra for a non-league game on Friday, September 12. City View will battle a Tigers team coming off a 35-0 non-league loss to Holliday (Holliday, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.
