Indiana High School Basketball - South Ripley overwhelms Southwestern
January 18, 2018: Versailles, IN 47042 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the South Ripley Raiders (Versailles, IN) and the visiting Southwestern Rebels (Hanover, IN), saw South Ripley's basketball squad wallop Southwestern by a tally of 67-26.
With the victory, South Ripley improves its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Milan (Milan, IN) to confront the Indians in a Ohio River Valley challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 6-12.
Next up, the Rebels confront the Trinity Lutheran Cougars (Seymour, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Southwestern will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 17-4 record after their 61-34 non-league win over South Decatur (Greensburg, IN).
