North Carolina High School Basketball - Huss overwhelms Burns

December 3, 2016: Lawndale, NC 28090

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC) and the host Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC), saw Huss's basketball squad wallop Burns by a tally of 67-34.

With the victory, Huss improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Huskies host Clover (Clover, SC) to confront the Blue Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 5. The Blue Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Clover won 55-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Forestview (Gastonia, NC)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) in a South Mountain 2A/3A challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Burns will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 54-35 league win over East Rutherford (Forest City, NC).
