Guntersville Wildcats (Guntersville, AL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Jacksonville Golden Eagles (Jacksonville, AL), 41-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Guntersville upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Brindlee Mountain (Guntersville, AL) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Monday, November 30. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 4-1.

Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Alexandria Valley Cubs (Alexandria, AL) in a 4A Area 12 bout, on Friday, December 4. Jacksonville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
