In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Bethlehem Central Eagles basketball squad scored a close 42-35 victory over the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans.

With the victory, Bethlehem Central improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Columbia (East Greenbush, NY) to play the Blue Devils in a Section 2 Suburban - Gold challenge on Tuesday, January 12.
