Colorado High School Basketball - George Washington crushes Kennedy
January 30, 2018: Denver, CO 80227 George Washington Patriots (Denver, CO) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Kennedy Commanders (Denver, CO), 100-51 in a league bout.
With the victory, George Washington upgrades its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Thomas Jefferson (Denver, CO) to play the Spartans in a 5A/4A Denver Prep bout on Monday, February 5. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 11-7.
Next up, the Commanders play the Denver West Cowboys (Denver, CO) in a 5A/4A Denver Prep bout, on Thursday, February 1. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Cowboys come into the bout with a 4-15 record after their 80-54 league loss to Far Northeast Warriors (Denver, CO).
