North Carolina High School Basketball - Cummings knocked off by Eastern Alamance
December 22, 2017: Burlington, NC 27217 The Eastern Alamance Eagles basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Cummings Cavaliers to 37 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southern Alamance for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Eastern Alamance will meet a Patriots team coming off a 82-67 league win over Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 5-5.
The Cavaliers (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Granville Central (Stem, NC). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Granville Central ran past Oxford Preparatory (Oxford, NC), 66-15, in a non-league contest.
