California High School Volleyball - Encinal overwhelmed by Alameda
September 11, 2009: Alameda, CA 94501 In Friday's non-league battle, the host Alameda Hornets volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Encinal Jets.
The Hornets (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Arroyo (San Lorenzo, CA). The Dons come into the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Arroyo lost by Newark Memorial (Newark, CA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Jets clash with the St. Mary's Panthers (Albany, CA) in a Bay Shore battle, on Tuesday, September 15. Encinal will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Salesian (Richmond, CA).
