September 7, 2012: Thomson, GA 30824 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Thomson Bulldogs (Thomson, GA) and the visiting Lakeside Panthers (Evans, GA), observed Thomson's football squad thwart Lakeside by a count of 51-27.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-0 record. They play next when they host St. Pius X Catholic for a non-league contest on Friday, September 14. Thomson will play a Golden Lions squad coming off a 50-14 non-league win over North Oconee (Bogart, GA). The Golden Lions record now stands at 2-0.
Coming up next, the Panthers play the Westside Patriots (Augusta, GA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 21. Lakeside will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
