The Cumberland Clippers basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Central Falls Warriors to 60 in the Clippers league triumph on Friday.

The Clippers now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westerly for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Cumberland will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 71-50 league win over Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-3.

With the defeat, Central Falls moves to 2-2 on the year. The Warriors travel to Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI) to face the Chargers in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 3.
