New York High School Softball - Beacon holds off Hudson

The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY) and the visiting Hudson Sailors (Montrose, NY), saw Beacon's softball squad nip Hudson by a count of 2-0.

The Bulldogs now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spackenkill for a non-league match on Saturday, April 25.

With the loss, Hudson falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Sailors travel to Lakeland (Shrub Oak, NY) to face the Hornets in a Section 1 II - A match on Friday, April 24. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 4-0. Lakeland won 3-2 in their recent league match against Brewster (Brewster, NY)
