De Soto Eagles (De Soto, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Coppell Cowboys (Coppell, TX), 63-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, De Soto upgrades its record to 15-6 on the campaign.

Next up, the Cowboys play the Dallas Jesuit Rangers (Dallas, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 13. Coppell will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Rangers come into the bout with a 14-6 record after their 84-62 league loss to Plano West (Plano, TX).
