The Vicksburg Gators basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host Madison Central Jaguars to 32 in the Gators non-league victory on Saturday.

The Gators now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Point for a non-league contest on Monday, December 19. Vicksburg will battle a Green Wave team coming off a 53-40 non-league win over Houston (Houston, MS). The Green Wave record now stands at 6-2.

The Jaguars (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against New Hope (Columbus, MS). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, New Hope prevailed over Kemper County (DeKalb, MS), 66-45, in a non-league contest.
