The Hoover Buccaneers basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Homewood Patriots to 63 in the Buccaneers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Buccaneers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 17. Hoover will battle a Falcons team coming off a 62-52 non-league loss to Hale County (Moundville, AL). The Falcons record now stands at 1-1.

The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Spain Park (Hoover, AL). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Spain Park nudged Lee (Huntsville, AL), 59-52, in a non-league contest.
