Indiana High School Volleyball - Elwood edged by Eastside
October 8, 2011: Butler, IN 46721 The Eastside Blazers held off the visiting Elwood Panthers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Blazers now have a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Angola for a Northeast Corner test on Monday, October 10. Eastside will confront a Hornets team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Goshen (Goshen, IN). The Hornets record now stands at 5-4.
The Panthers (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Eastbrook (Marion, IN). The Panthers enter the Central Indiana test with a 6-0 record. In their last test, Eastbrook held off Mississinewa (Gas City, IN), 3-1, in a non-league test.
