Tennessee High School Volleyball - Brighton over Ridgeway
August 28, 2010: Brighton, TN 38011 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Brighton Cardinals (Brighton, TN) and the visiting Ridgeway Roadrunners (Memphis, TN), saw Brighton's volleyball squad beat Ridgeway by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Brighton upgrades its record to 1-3 on the year. The Cardinals host Dyer County (Newbern, TN) to play the Choctaws in a AAA District 13 bout on Tuesday, August 31. The Choctaws go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
The Roadrunners now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Germantown for a AAA District 15 bout on Tuesday, August 31. Ridgeway will play a Red Devils squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Munford (Munford, TN). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-6.
