Coming up next, the Falcons encounter the Canyon Crest Academy Ravens (San Diego, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 18. Torrey Pines will attempt to improve on its 13-3 season record. The Ravens come into the test with a 6-3 record after their 4-0 league loss to Parker (San Diego, CA).
The Titans (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Hilltop (Chula Vista, CA). The Lancers come into the non-league test with a 14-6 record. In their last test, Hilltop edged Helix (La Mesa, CA), 7-0, in a non-league test.
Game Summary
The Torrey Pines Falcons got back on the winning path with a hard fought 3-2 victory over the Eastlake Titans at Falcon Field yesterday. Freshmen left hander Lauren Hynes picked up her 7th victory of the year with 2 innings of 1 hit shut out relief for Torrey Pines which improved to 13-3 on the year with the win. Junior DP, Madeleine Tayer lead the Falcons offensively going 2-3 on the day. Torrey Pines host Canyon Crest tomorrow in a double header at 10 A.M. and 12 noonm in the last games before Avocado league play begins next week.
