The Fort Worth Christian Cardinals basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Southwest Christian Eagles to 30 in the Cardinals league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 16-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grapevine Faith Christian for a TAPPS 5A District 1 contest on Friday, February 9. Fort Worth Christian will meet a Lions team coming off a 71-36 league win over Southwest Christian (Fort Worth, TX). The Lions record now stands at 19-7.
The Eagles (11-13) will now prepare for their contest against All Saints (Fort Worth, TX). The Saints enter the TAPPS 5A District 1 contest with a 1-18 record. In their last bout, All Saints was crushed by Fort Worth Christian (North Richland Hills, TX), 58-51, in a league bout.
