The Layton Lancers basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Davis Darts to 41 in the Lancers league triumph on Friday.

The Lancers now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Syracuse for a 5A Region 1 contest on Tuesday, January 13. Layton will meet a Titans team coming off a 57-42 league win over Weber (North Ogden, UT). The Titans record now stands at 8-1.

Next up, the Darts play the Fremont Silver Wolves (Plain City, UT) in a 5A Region 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 13. Davis will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Silver Wolves go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 66-50 league win over Northridge (Layton, UT).
