Colorado High School Softball - Liberty gets by Platte Valley
September 3, 2010: Kersey, CO 80644 The Liberty Lancers (Colorado Springs, CO) softball nipped the host Platte Valley Broncos (Kersey, CO), 7-6 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Lancers (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Pueblo South (Pueblo, CO). The Colts go into the non-league bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, Pueblo South held off Pueblo Central (Pueblo, CO), 3-2, in a league bout.
The Broncos now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Pueblo South for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 4. Platte Valley will confront a Colts squad coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to Windsor (Windsor, CO). The Colts record now stands at 4-1.
