The Ridge Point Panthers basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Fort Bend Kempner Cougars to 55 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 16-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Bend Clements for a 6A Region III District 20 contest on Tuesday, February 14. Ridge Point will battle a Rangers team coming off a 76-28 league loss to Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 0-27.

The Cougars (14-16) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 6A Region III District 20 contest with a 18-13 record. In their last contest, Fort Bend Austin ran past Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX), 62-40, in a league contest.
