Match Summary
October 9, 2009 FSDB vs. Louisiana Home 9-6 3-2 (Districts)
The second game started out good, but Valerie Boyette (our Libero) got hurt after she landed wrong after a back line attack. Her concern was if it was a kill or not, it was kill! We aren’t sure exactly what’s wrong or if she’ll be able to play, but we are keeping our fingers crossed. After she had been moved off of the floor and we made changes, we had our line up wrong and lost a few points on missed serves. However, the girls stuck together and ended up winning both games. The scores were 25-20 and 25-13.
Robin Spigner served for 11 points with 5 aces and had 2 digs, 6 assists, and 2 kills. Lakeisha McNair served for 9 points with 4 aces and had 2 digs and 3 assists. Camilla Crump stepped up and served in place of Valerie. She served for 6 points with 2 aces and had 2 digs. Michelle Harris served for 3 points, all of them aces, and had 3 digs and 3 kills.
This is our last game for Pool Play and we won’t
